Our last box of size 4s were counterfeit. I see many reviews thinking pampers changed quality but they only removed Sesame Street. I also saw a review that thought people who said they were counterfeit just didn’t realize that the quality had changed. I really believe that the only thing that has changed is the image on the front of the diapers. I used swaddlers for two years on my now 3 1/2year-old and have been using them for the past eight months on my baby. They look nearly identical but when I compared a real (non-sesame) to a fake (non sesame) there were several differences:1. Overall thickness with real diaper is as good as ever2. Colors less bright on fake3. Inconsistency in diapers length4. Counterfeit sounded different when crinkled- almost sounded like crinkling a thin plastic tablecloth5. Tabs and front little flaps rip easily on fakes6. Smell pee stronger in fakes7. I am pretty certain that the pampers codes were missing from the shrinkwrap on the fakes (I already opened and discarded by the time I realized getting fakes was possible)I called amazon and they confirmed my October purchase was from a different vendor. My November purchase was directly from pampers. They made things right and I will continue to use my dash button for future orders. Just be vigilant.

So I have been purchasing all of my Pampers diapers on here for over a year now. I should have known on my last purchase when they looked different something was a-miss. The last order did not have the Sesame Street characters but instead little kitties, I thought no big deal, new marketing tactic? Then I started to really notice the difference….First off, they were visibly different in the overall size and thickness. They appeared to be much thinner and flimsy. The tabs ripped off several times. Many of the diapers had dark brownish spots under the material as if their was too much chemical or went something in production (I was too afraid to put the mystery spotty diapers on my son so I ended up throwing probably at least 8 away). They left little white pieces of material all over my sons bottom and WORST of all they gave him terrible diaper rash :(- which NEVER happens!!. After that I threw them out and ran to my local Target to get a new box of QUALITY pampers. Fast Forward to last week>>> I decided to go on amazon to check the reviews and many parents shared my same concern. I noticed when I went to place an order that their we very distinct NEW and OLD over each box, thinking they fixed the problem I was sure to order a NEW box of pampers hoping to get the standard Sesame characters I was used to but much to my disappointment (and $54 later) when the box arrived it was the same low grade diapers I had just thrown away.

These are knock off diapers. They look the same but they feel rough/like plastic. I was having to put diaper cream on my baby to alleviate the irritation only to discover it was the diaper itself. It’s also shorter than the normal pampers and the art is similar but not the same. Buyer beware!

I have tried many different diapers: Honest, Target, every Pampers, every Huggies, Target, Kroger and Albertsons diapers, Seventh Generation, Luvs. It’s difficult to find Huggies Snugglers Size 4 in the store. I have to use Amazon.I like Snugglers because it doesn’t soak through quickly like Pampers, is soft yet sturdy like Honest, and isn’t paper thin like Luvs. Also hugs better around thighs. The best part- the poop trap at the top back of the diaper so that you have some extra insurance on a blow-out!!My 29 month old and 11 month old wears them during the day.For night time we don’t use them. We have a 2 diaper system for zero nightime blow outs:Any size 4 non-chlorine diaper on 1st and a small slit cut in front of diaper where pee accumulates and then a size 5 overnight of any cheap diaper over it. It’s amazing, an engineer told me to do that for overnight. The cut in the 1st diaper (use non-chlorine for diaper that is cut, against baby’s skin) allows for overflow to the 2nd larger diaper.

The diapers themselves, I have no issue with. But after getting through most of the box, I opened a pack and realized that one whole pack was defective. One tab was ripped on all diapers! No refund or replacement was allowed. Customer service said I have to return all the diapers. However the other 130 are filled with poop and pee in the trash. So I’m out of luck.

After using Pampers exclusively for my first two children – I started to notice their brand quality has declined/recently changed for the worse. At the NICU, the hospital used Huggies and we were given a few packs of the Little Snugglers to take home with us. I liked the feeling of the diaper material and given Pampers current quality status, we decided to give Huggies a go exclusively.I’m glad we did- the diapers are so soft, the Velcro bands are almost too good at sticking to the diaper (seriously, this is something you have to watch out for when changing) and Huggies Little Snugglers have this awesome poop guard in the back that works to prevent blowouts- I don’t know why it took me so long to find these! We like Huggies and I think we’ll be buying this brand from now on!

I had registered for Pampers and in the hospital they provided us with Huggies. Wish I would have known!! I loved how they fit my baby and never had leaking problems. They have a little curve at the top to (what I assume) allow the umbilical cord to not get irritated.

Being a mom of three I’ve always used Huggies diapers over any other brand. But for some reason the quality of the diapers seemed to have decreased since I’ve started using them. I can say these are not the same Huggies quality from 2009 or 2015

These would be my #2 diaper. I used these since my daughter was born for several weeks until I tried the snug and dry line which is cheaper and I liked them better. These don’t keep her as dry as the snug and dry ones but it’s still overall a great diaper.Pampers is complete crap – buy Huggies.
