Dr. Brown’s Newborn narrow nipple is the “just right” Flow for some newborns, breastfed babies, and babies with feeding difficulties. Faster than our Preemie flow nipple but slower than our level 1 nipple, brand new babies and developing babies with feeding difficulties may find the newborn…

I wish I had of had these bottles when my son was a small baby. These are my favorite bottles I’ve ever used and I’ve tried pretty much every bottle on the market with my 5 children over the years and until now my favorite has been Avent anti colic (the original style nipple). I just needed some bottles to replace the 3 that were recently lost because my toddler still takes a bottle in the mornings and one at night when I rock him to sleep. I saw these and figured I would give something new a try. My son has been very difficult to please when it comes to bottles because he was breastfed and did not want to change to a bottle but due to health issues my milk dried up early. These bottles checked every box on my “must have” list. The mouth on these bottles is no different from a tall thin regular drinking glass so they are very easy to clean with no odd angles to try to get a bottle brush into. The colors are amazing and not all of them scream baby!! They even make one in black! They honestly would pass for a sport bottle. Each bottle comes with its own formula container that can also be used for snacks or meals and the lid stores on top of the nipple cover when not in use. The formula containers also stack together when you have multiple. The nipple is wonderfully shaped and very supple but not so soft that it is floppy or easily bitten through by a gentle nip from a teething child. The 11oz bottles come with the “large” nipples and the flow is absolutely fast enough for my toddler. I feel it compares well to an Avent size 4 nipple or just between a 3 and 4.The mixing disk is a very handy feature even if you are no longer using formula. I have used it to mix fruit into my sons water and it keeps the chunks from clogging up the nipple.I also purchased the sippy teats and this is the first time my toddler has happily drank from one. He hates hard or soft spout sippy cups of all types and went straight from a bottle during the day to a small regular cup but he LOVES the sippy teat. That is a separate purchase but I wanted to include a mention of it here because I am just so overjoyed to have a sippy he will drink from and it doesn’t leak at all which will save my furniture from anymore accidental spills.

My eight week old son has acid reflux and we had to add cereal to his bottle. We tried cutting the hole bigger in size 1 and 2 nipples, but they would always end up too fast. I read somewhere about these nipples and decided to give them a try. They say nine months, but they work perfectly with rice cereal! I highly recommend these if you are in the same situation.

Okay….so I am a breastfeeding mamma but I also work full time so I knew my son would eventually have to take a bottle. I had registered for the Avent Naturals and the Dr. Brown’s bottles and had gotten the Level 1 slow flow nipples like I was told. At about 3 weeks after breastfeeding was established, I started pumping and had my husband give my son a bottle to start getting him used to them. We started with the Avent and he did fine with them…but he finished the bottle so fast! He was done in less than 10 minutes but would nurse for a good 20 minutes on each side at a regular feeding. Even with the slowest fliw nipple the milk was dripping out of his mouth and he also spit up more. I researched bottles that were good for breastfed babies and found medela Calma and Breastflow. I ordered them and my son took both of them but he still would finish the bottle way too quickly. The whole issue with bottles in general for breastfed babies is that sometimes baby gets too used of the ease of getting milk with the bottle and doesn’t want to go back to the breast. At the breast babies have to work for it. I didn’t want to jeopardize our nursing relationship so I kept reading and found a few posts from moms who had recommended the preemie nipples from Dr. Brown’s. I didn’t even know they made preemie nipples. I thought..what the heck??! I got them in and it has made a huge difference. It takes my son a least 20 if not 30 minutes to finish a 3.5 – 4 ounce bottle. He has to work for it just like at the breast. And because he’s not drowning in milk he doesn’t drip or spit up anymore. Dr. Brown’s really should market these for breastfed babies. I’ve told several friends who breastfeed about these and all have switched!!

We have two kids and both my kids love Dr. Brown bottles. It’s our go to. Some folks recommend buying several different bottles and testing it out. I say, if Dr. Brown fails then try the other ones out!We started using level three at 7 months with our second and at 8 months with our first. We never pushed a faster nipple because they were perfectly content with level 2. The only reason we changed to level three was to make the transition to sippy cups easier. These nipples are SUPER durable. Both my kids have used it. They go into the dishwasher all the time and have held up for 2 years (shocker) and counting. We have used these nipples with the medela bottles and medela collars with no leaks. Of course, we mostly use these with the Dr. Brown bottles. We have the regular and the options and this nipple can be used for bothBreastfeeding: I mostly pump, but will breastfeed my child occasionally at night. With my youngest at a young age she seemed to switch really easily between nursing and bottle. At 7 months she seems to be more picky and favor the bottle.Rice cereal: We have used level three with rice cereal. If it is diluted enough it will work with this nipple. This is nice because it is slightly heavier and many say it helps them sleep better at night. We tried rice cereal with this nipple at 5 months. In my opinion, it’s nice to feed rice cereal to a 5 month old in a simple and quick way, my kids did not sleep much better because there was rice in the milk.Overall: Great transition nipple. We have used level three the longest. From 7 months to 14 months. They are super durable and my kids love them.

No babies in my house but we use plenty of bottles; pop, juice, water, ect. I like to dry my water bottle every night to help keep it clean and this is a great place to hold it. We try to rinse out the pop and juice bottles before recycling but my husband used to put the bottles upside down on the edge of the sink to dry and I can’t tell you how many times I have knocked them over trying to use the sink. This works great. We place the caps on the little try on the side to dry. This was really easy to put together and its really easy to clean. I generally give it a little clean every week and it is super easy. This is exactly what I was looking for and meets my needs great!

Great rack, drains well and takes little space. I wanted a rack that did not make me feel like water was being kept on the bottom. This definitely drains and whatever it does not drain evaporates anyway. Great little rack for what I need.

This ‘Drain ‘N Dry Bottle Rack’ designed and engineered in the USA by Mommy’s Helper, Inc. and manufactured in China is an excellent solution for drying juice bottles for those who have raw food diets or plant based diets. For households that juice, this bottle drying rack is priced economically (at the time of this review, April 23,2014 cost is $6.03) and provides excellent value as well as versatile usage. This rack is strong is enough for the glass juice bottles; best suited for bottle sizes in 16 oz., 12 oz., and 8 oz.I did not find the bottle brush that comes with the unit to be stiff-bristled enough to thoroughly clean glass juice bottles, but I found several products on Amazon that work super well with this set-up and I’ll provide those links at the end of this review. The set comes with an accessory rack for drying small parts which is perfect for the jar lids…and…in fact, the grooves of the accessory rack just happen to be perfectly spaced to hold juice bottle lids in an upright position so that they air dry thoroughly on both sides. I really like this feature so much. The drain tray is raised so that excess water can easily drip down the ‘waterfall lip’ and into the sink. No mess, no fuss, such a great price!I purchased two racks because we use A LOT of glass juice bottles. The pegs on the rack are tall enough so that all sides of the bottles are exposed to the air, including the inside, so no condensation or moisture builds up. You can configure the pegs in any manner you desire that works best for your own particular bottle drying needs. The pegs are surprisingly strong and yes, these could be used for home brewers of beer. This drying rack arrives in a very attractive merchandising box with full color illustrations and additional information about product use. Please note: I’ve added photos with roll-over quick comments on the product listing page. And…here are some of the wonderful bottle brushes I found on Amazon:Winco GWB-3 Glass Washer BrushLibman Glass/Dish SpongePolder KTH-40AP Glass Washing Station All-Purpose Replacement PostAnd I loved this holding bin for keeping all the scrub supplies together.Cambro 415CBP-110 Poly Cambox Plastic Cutlery Insert Box, Black
