I purchased this initially as nipple butter, which I loved much more than lanolin for the baby to digest. It has a mild pleasant smell as well with a calming effect. I kept it by my bedside and one night I couldn’t find my bedside chapstick and figured it could go in its place – loved how moist my lips felt in the morning and stopped having chapped winter lip issues! Then a month later I could not find the desitin during a diaper change. My baby had developed a skin chafing buildup on one inner thigh which hadn’t gone away for a month despite diligent care and cleaning. I applied a thin coat of this for the next day worth of diaper changes and noticed the skin healing. By a few more days it was all healed! I never went back to desitin, this is my go to and requires a much thinner coat so the small canister lasts longer than a tube of desitin. I reordered this instead of the earth butter diaper cream (which I have never tried) because it serves 3 purposes-nipple, lip, and diaper cream!

I used this for my breast pump. I hated lanolin because it was too thick and sticky. This stuff was more like a balm, which was much better than the lanolin. But I had to use a lot of it at once, which caused it to get expensive, and it gooed up my pump parts. I also still had some discomfort from the pump rubbing and some scabbing. I ended up switching to extra virgin coconut oil and was much happier with the results. It was way more comfortable and significantly cheaper. Trader Joe’s and Aldi have the best prices on coconut oil that I could find, just a heads up!So, in my opinion:Lanolin = 1 starEarth Mama nipple butter = 3 starsCoconut oil = 5 stars

I’m a new mom and the first couple days of breast feeding were rough. Sore cracked nipples and a hungry baby boy made for painful feedings. I was not prepared for this! The hospital gave me some samples of the medela lanolin creme and it was not helping at all. I got desperate and started looking on Amazon. I ordered The Earth mama brand seeing all the positive reviews and I’m so glad I did!!! I did not have the grainey experience as a few other reviewers did. The smell is pleasant however my son does not care for the taste as much so I just wipe it off before feedings. I will be getting this for all my future nursing mom friends as baby shower gifts! Additionally if you experience what I went through try getting the gell nipple pads and bamboo reusable nursing bra pads (all found on Amazon) The disposable pads cause your nipples to dry out so the bamboo is the only way to go and the gel pads feel amazing especially after you put them in the refrigerator.

DO not buy this. Chinese rip off. Literal Chinese symbols on the outside of the bag. not at all accurate of this amazon description.

Look I don’t know if this is a knockoff. I uploaded pictures of the tags. I assume they’re in Chinese. But let me tell you … I don’t care. I’ve been using diaper bags for going on 5 years now. This bag is great ESPECIALLY for the price. It has a wide opening. (Picture)It holds those large Playtex bottles. (Picture)It has a cool backdoor zipper to get to stuff in the bottom of the bag (I never knew I wanted this until I had it). (Picture)It holds everything I need for my 7 month old and my 4 year old.It has plenty of pockets!I don’t know how well it’ll hold up but will update if it falls apart. All I’m saying for now is I’m super happy with the design and layout and how much it’ll hold but it’s still organized.

I tried this backpack diaper bag for a week. I don’t have a whole bunch of things to fill it up, but standard things. I have a 9 month old baby and I pack 5 diapers, a small refillable pack of wipes, a blanket, two onesies, a pair of socks, 2 burp cloths, 1 bib, 1 jacket, and one changing pad (I didn’t use the one included with the bag). I also have a small baggie where I have my own items (credit cards, makeup, tide pen, hand sanitizer, etc) and then in other pockets I have things like a power bank, charging cables, toys for my son, food pouches and a spoon. It really doesn’t fill up the bag much at all. The flap is what made me return the bag. It’s annoying having to deal with the closing Magnetic buttons, mostly because they are very weak magnets and the instant you finally close them and they click, you move an inch and it’s open again. It got very annoying dealing with the flap being in the way. I don’t have time to deal with things that annoy me.Also, the two front pockets have a strong Velcro, but I wouldn’t recommend placing anything of importance in there, with the flap being loose all the time, something could be lost.I LOVED this bag, because the trolley sleeve, back pocket and the laptop sleeve inside where the main reasons why I purchased it. The design is nice and neutral and those features above are why I wanted it. Maybe if they had stronger magnets (maybe try looking at a similar bag from Eddie Bauer) I would have definitely kept it. Having two weak magnet buttons on the bag didn’t execute well.I also had a similar bag (HaloVa) and the inside of that bag had nice wide pockets, but this bag’s interior pockets didn’t have the stretch required to store simple things.Another plus was the pocket for the bottles. It fit the Philips Avent bottles I use for my son, better than many other bags I’ve tried. If you don’t care about the flap, this may just work for you.
