Update** My son is now 15 months and actually plays with it.Product is great! It has great sounds, music, and lights. It says colors, numbers, and shapes. The L & R “bumpers” are like switches and wheel things that click. There is sound adjustment so you can turn up the volume or keep it lower. I think this toy is awesome. And it looks just like an Xbox controller. The only thing is… my son doesn’t care for it haha. He still prefers to fight is to play with our controllers. The reason why we got this controller is so he can “play games with us” but he wants the one we’re playing with. Go figure haha. However, this toy is cute and great, and my son is just too clever lol.

Very cute toy for our little one! Teaches numbers, colors, letters, etc. and has real game sounds (or so my husband says!) Using real gaming cheat codes, you can unlock different sounds. My husband and I googled this and it took about 20 minutes to figure out the trick to getting the secret code to work: you have to hit each button slowly (letting the sound effect completely finish before hitting the next button)! Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A.

My 14 month old usually screams/fusses for any car ride- we purchased this knowing how much he likes to press buttons and how often he wants to play with daddy’s video game controllers. I didn’t expect for him to like it quite as much as he did, but husband just told me that once he bucked LO into the car he heard our kiddo playing with it for the ENTIRE 20 minute car ride (usually he throws his toys out of his car seat) and even whined when hubby had to take it away when they got to daycare.10/10 would purchase for any new parent or for a kid’s first birthday!

12 year old son with Autism was always putting his shirt in his mouth. We tried several therapeutic items and techniques to change this behavior. My son never liked chew tubes and refused all other chew items. He loved this item. It’s large enough and thick enough to get him the right sensory input. Plus, it looks cool on a middle schooler; he is not embarrassed to wear to school and always have it ready when he needs it. Have had many moms ask me where I got it. Thanks to Amazon I can always find the best items for my special son.

This teether is an exact miniature copy of the real thing! I dug out my old, barely functional Game Boy for comparison. At ten bucks, it runs about the same price as other high-end teethers and is totally worth the price for any Nintendo fan who wants to indulge in a little nostalgia for their baby.Functionally, this teether is also great. My older two kids both hated silicone teethers, but maybe they wouldn’t have if we’d had this one. I rubbed the bumpy side against my own gums and it felt GOOD, ha! My 3.5 month old absolutely loves it when someone helps her hold it up to her mouth to munch on, forgoing the wooden and plastic teethers her siblings preferred. Her little hands can curl around it, but she doesn’t have the coordination to hold it up to her mouth for more than a minute on her own. I expect she’ll continue to favor this toy as her teeth start to come in.

First of all, these are fun for adults. Whenever people see it they always comment on it. That aside, this is my daughter’s favorite teether. We have a few, but I think she likes this one best because it’s soft all over. The black probably makes it easy to see, and it’s a great size. I bought the gameboy first, and I think she likes being able to get her fingers around the thinner part. She can shake it without dropping it more easily. But wherever I hold both of them up, she always goes for the controller.
