Does this work? Yes… To a degree. It does provide non irritating moisture but it doesn’t last longer than ten minutes. So… Is it less expensive? Yes. Should you buy it over Johnson’s or even Equate Cocoa Butter Oil? No. Never! PLUS, you have to buy this in bulk versus trying out an individual bottle first. I think I had to buy four or five bottles…. And it’s basically a waste of money because it doesn’t work well on my normal, adult skin. Solomon brand and Mountain Falls, are the exact same products BTW, so don’t get either brand in any type. Maybe I can shine my floors with it or use it on a slip and slide outdoors instead? That was sarcasm. Hard pass. Buy Johnson and Johnsons or Equate by Walmart instead. You’ll thank me later!

I slather this on my body when I shower and use it to shave. Leaves your skin soft and smooth, and unlike other baby oils it doesn’t make you smell weird, just like a tiny hint of cocoa.

Excellent price & quality.I’d never used baby oil until recently. I’m using it for moisturizing my cuticles & hands when I do 💅🏽-& it works great! Way cheaper than special cuticle oil-& works just as well. Can’t beat it!

I was so upset when I received this to see it contains Rosemary Leaf Extract. Everything I have read states rosemary is not safe to use while pregnant. There is no way I am going to apply this to my tummy and potential harm Baby. I wish I could return it but they do not accept returns on this product. It is still sealed and I don’t intend on ever using it.

So, I wanted to wait until the very end of my pregnancy to post an honest review, and I can say I’m very pleased. I made it out stretch mark free. However I did use the belly butter AND oil night and day, as well as taking the oil with me to work and applying it on my lunch.

I bought this oil in the first trimester of my pregnancy. It was my first pregnancy and a did have one or two very faded stretch marks on my breast from puberty. I used this and a few other products for preventing stretch marks during my pregnancy on a daily basis. I have since learned that getting stretch marks is more determined by genetics and how much your skin can stand to stretch. You can oil and lotion and grease yourself up as much as you want but if the stretch marks are coming, they won’t be stopped. I did like the smell of this oil. Not too strong for me but a nice lemony scent. The oil goes on easily and absorbs nicely. The entire bottle lasted for maybe six months for me. I applied it to my breasts, belly, hips, and bottom. This oil definitely helped to lessen the itchy skin on the belly during pregnancy. It did not, however, prevent stretch marks. My breasts were covered in stretch marks early in pregnancy but I didn’t get a single one on my belly until my ninth month. Then one day I woke up and my belly was covered in them. I will not tell anyone to not use anything like this during pregnancy. Just know that if you have skin that is genetically not built to stretch and bounce back, there are most likely stretch marks in your future.

When I was a young teen I started using baby oil. When I got smart I changed to Palmer’s Cocoa butter body oil. Im 62 now and people have asked me for years what I have done to my skin to be this age and not look it. Even massage therapists can really tell and especially as I age. I have told many people the answer but its up to you do actually do it. Its easy. After your shower or bath, dry what parts need dried but leave you arms, legs and body wet. Apply a small amount of oil to each area rubbing it in with the left over water you didn’t dry. Every day!

I wanted a body oil, to replace using body lotion everyday, that provides all day moisture, has a great fragrance and goes on light not sticky. This works perfectly and smells so yummy!!I have loved Palmers cocoa butter products since I was a teenager and this oil is a winner! My skin is soft and it’s clearing up dark spots as I hoped it would. It’s a definite skin care staple. Thanks Palmer’s!!

I have been waiting anxiously for this product as I have used it in the past and was obsessed with the results. However, I received my product today and I am a little leery to use it, after unpacking the shipment I noticed that the bottle was dirty. The label appears to be lifted in a couple of the corners and is dark as if it were pre-used and refilled. I am definitely skeptical to use due to the bottle’s appearance and its inability to ensure it hasn’t been used and refilled (as there were no plastic or label around the head of the bottle).
