This is a fun toy for toddlers. What’s neat about it is that the key surface is a smooth piece of wood and very easy to keep clean. The keyboard also includes a few song cards that can be played one of three ways:1. “Free style” by pushing the keys associated with the colors on the song card.2. “Auto” mode can be activated when flicking a switch on the side of the keyboard’s electronics. This will allow the child to play the song without having to push the right keys, every key press will play the next note.3. “Demo” mode will play a more complex song with a button push. The song played will vary based on the card inserted. My only gripe with this is that the red color printed on the card looks more orange than red which might be confusing to young children. Otherwise this a fun toy for little ones to learn the basic concepts of a piano.

Overall I’m really impressed with this piano. It sounds good and it’s been dropped a few times and is holding up well. My only complaint is the color of the music dots on the cards that come with it. The orange and red dots look a lot a like in color. My brother (the actual piano player in the family) pointed out which ones are actually supposed to be red. I colored those in with a red permanent marker to make them red and not orange. My three year old loves trying to match the dots to make the song and my two year old just plays freely. It’s a great first piano.

Although it says it’s for 12+ months, we decided to get it earlier as we thought my granddaughter would really like it, and we’d only allow use with supervision. She LOVES it, and at 7 months old will sit and play with this for long periods. After initial play, she’ll go do something else then within minutes come back to it and play some more, and repeat. The “sheet music” is quite sturdy, she bends it backwards and forwards while in the slots, and she has yet (knock on wood) to cause a crease in the plastic.I gave a 4 for sturdiness just for the sense that if they push backwards on the top or pull it towards them, it will go over, but that shouldn’t be too much of a concern. Otherwise the sturdiness is good.Product seems very durable, I was actually impressed once opening it. We’ll definitely be giving this as a gift to others. One oddity – there’s a feature where after playing the notes on the “sheet music”, the piano then continues the rest of the song. Sometimes it has a bit of a long delay before picking up on the rest of it, and occasionally hasn’t done it at all. I’m not sure why that is, but it’s not enough for me to mark it down.I highly recommend this toy piano. Once she’s a little older, we’ll get a toy piano that has the realistic keys, but for now (and a while) this is terrific.

So far I absolutely love this machine! It’s so relaxing and does exactly what it claims to do. The music is gentle and I love the fact you can switch between music, white noise (“ocean sounds”), and the lighted up screen. You can have a combination of lights and sounds, or just sound or lights. It’s great! Very user-friendly. And so far the motor is not noisy on my device. My son seems to enjoy it too… he falls asleep quickly after I put it on. I haven’t had to use the remote yet, but that seems easy enough. You have to use pretty close to that machine, so it’s not super convenient, but at least you don’t have to walk up to the machine to turn it on (but make sure you leave the machine “on” in order to use the remote). Also, it was super easy to install on the crib. And best of all, it came with batteries (you do however have to supply batteries for the remote though- two AAA)!Summary: Great device! It is wonderful for my little bundle of joy! I highly recommend it!

My daughter loves this. I got this when she was 6 months old. She is now 8 months and she will stare at this thing when she wakes up in the middle of the night. I go turn it on for her and she stays occupied and falls back asleep with the sound of the ocean waves. The mechanism is a little noisy, but to an infant its a comforting hum it produces. The crib light is helpful at night when we have to search for her binky or just to see to pick her up. The full light feature is very bright in a dark room, but my daughter has no issues falling asleep with it. Batteries can go by fast if you use the motion at all times. But I’ve used it for a good couple of months with no dead batteries yet. Plan on buying rechargeable for it soon. We mostly use it every night for the ocean sound no motion or lights. UPDATE 2/10/2020: My daughter is now over 10 months old. She randomly wakes up in the middle of the middle of the night and she will stand up in her crib and push the button to turn this on, then off, then on again. It helps her go back to sleep without waking us up. UPDATE: 5/14/2020 My daughter is now almost 14 months and she still uses this to put herself back to sleep. Best purchase ever. Rechargeable batteries are a must.

Got this with our baby very early on. He did not seem to respond to it until he was 3-4 months old. I have the same likes and dislikes like many other reviewers.Pros:- very soothing and hypnotic, just like aquarium- volume control- sea sound or music sound options- attaches easy to cribCons- does use high quantity of batteries. This was a problem until we started using rechargeable batteries (I think the Philips ones)- unable to control brightness- difficult to change batteries. I understand that screws are used to keep battery cover on most toys for infant safety. However, for as often as batteries are needed to be changed (every 4-5 days if using for every nap & bedtime), there needs to be quicker access option.Worst con of all:- I am not sure who thought this was a good idea but on top of having a low battery light (which is useful) there is a low battery chime (which is NOT useful). So, when the batteries are low, this chime will go off every 5 seconds while it is running!! You turn it on to sooth your baby only to have the stupid thing start chiming while the kid is trying to sleep!!! Completely counterproductive! I have to sneak in the nursery to turn it off before the baby wakes up.Overall, great product but needs to address the major shortcomings.

This toy has been great! My little guy has been obsessed with the light show and has helped turn tummy time into fun time for him. Now he is three months and pushing the buttons himself! So fun to watch him figure it out. And the best part is it stays relevant through so many different developmental stages! It’s nice to have a toy that he will enjoy for longer than a few weeks. The only thing I have had trouble with is the kick stand lock doesn’t really lock and it often falls over. I prop my foot against it to keep it upright.

My baby loves this toy and it is very cool. I love the learning elements — push a button and it lights up and tells you the color or animal. This is great for baby’s development. It is also very cool how it plays entire songs and you can switch between English, Spanish and French — which will be helpful when we want to teach our baby other languages. However, I have two issues with it that keep it from getting 5 stars.First, the button for “purple” has a red light. So my baby is pressing “purple” and seeing “red”. However, there is also a “red” button which also has a red light, which might be a bit confusing to a baby who is just learning these concepts. Obviously this is not ideal when you are trying to teach a baby colors.Second, when baby presses the button for purple and the toy says the color name, it sounds like it says “urple”. It’s annoying but it has become the running joke between my husband and I that our baby is going to grow up and say favorite color is “urple” while pointing at the color red.For $20, I would still recommend this toy. I thought these things were flaws in one toy so I exchanged it for another — and found that these are not flaws in one toy but features of the toy itself. Because my baby loves it and I supplement it with other learning methods for teaching colors, I still recommend this toy. Just be aware that your child may love the color “urple” (or red) later.

My 5 month old loves this. We are huge Baby Einstein fans, I have toys from 7 years ago with my first. It certainly lives up to the brand and I love the 3 options of piano, animal names and sounds, and colors. I wish music played after pressing the buttons rather than just spinning the rattle ball. It would be more entertaining for younger babies. The stand is easy to open and close. I didn’t find it flimsy at all like other reviews stated. I almost didn’t order it because of that, but it’s perfevtly fine and does it’s job.

Such a cute toy- perfect for my music loving little nephew. It’s light, easy for little hands to hold, and has a sturdy feel to it. Parents will appreciate that there is a volume control as well. I can’t wait to give it to him tomorrow! The video I took shows how the beads on the handle move, and demonstrates some of the different tunes.

Received the item promptly. However, color paint smeared all over when wiping it with a wet towel. I sure hope it isn’t toxic, and I’m glad I found out before letting our child play with it.

I just bought another of these from Target and the one I bought on here is DEFINITELY a knockoff. The music plays faster than it’s supposed to, more frantically. The one I got from Target today does not have that tinny quality to the sound, the music is rich and full like the old one my oldest child had. I wish I’d compared this one to one from Target earlier so that I could’ve returned it. I’ve hated this thing from day one. The tinny, rattling sound makes me grit my teeth every time it comes on. Hopefully neither of my girls will notice that I switched it out.
