This is very handy set, all in one place and stored in a handy cover but I have a mixed feelings toward some of the items in this set. The hair brush is not that soft, would not use on a newborn, scissors are bulky, tooth brush is hard and don’t think I will use it at all. The nasal aspirator is completely not useful, its very big and will not fit in my baby’s nostrils until she is probably 12 months old, the file nails are not filing baby’s soft nails, overal I only like the clippers, thermometer and comb but consider price is too high for just 3 useful items.

Great little kit for a new baby! What I like with the scissors is they bend slightly so you don’t have to worry about catching the fingers and it makes the nails more rounded so less faffing. Picture of the scissors to show the bend!Trick is to do it with a sleeping or sleepy baby! Less objection then and relaxed hands! The little comb is great with the rounded tips also. With the tooth brush we used it after applying some scalp oil to remove cradle cap! He doesn’t need a tooth brush yet as he’s a month old and we didn’t want to make the actual soft brush in this kit oily so the tooth brush came in handy to gently take away the flakes! He seemed to enjoy it too!All in all a great starter kit, saves searching around for all the separate pieces!Would recommend

Tommee Tippee is a great brand; I have several products from them, all very sound and well done. But this was a HUGE disappointment because it is so simple that they have to make an effort to go so wrong. The nail trim is terrible, couldn’t cut my baby’s nail, not sharp enough for the thin nails that a baby have. I ended up using my nail trim. The Thermometer is not working at all, always displaying 35.5 degrees with everyone that I tested it.The nasal aspirator is also not good, hard to control the intensity of the suck.Summary: Cheap! Not the usual Tommee Tippee quality.Unfortunately, I’ve thrown away the box and manual and can’t send it back, because I blindly trusted the brand and never expected something so cheap.

  4. Aimee,

Just as advertised. Only drawback I found is that it does not have cutouts to hold it securely on a shopping car.See more

  5. John57,

I received the SnugRide® 35 Lite Infant Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The first thing I noticed, before even opening up the box, was how light it was. I was initially excited about this, but quickly realized that the rest of the seat was lacking. The seat itself was fine. I had to adjust the shoulder strap height to fit my baby and the instructions were clear on how to do that. When I got my baby buckled in, I noticed that the strap to tighten everything was very hard to pull. There was a lot of resistance and I had to pull quite hard to get it secure. This might be just be due to the fact that it is brand new. Installing the base in my car was impossible. Two adults with a fair amount of muscle were unable to secure the base. Even after all the slack was taken out of the belt, the base was still moving much more than an inch at the belt path. This happened with both the LATCH and the car seat belt. It takes me less than a minute to install the base of my other infant car seat so, I don’t know what the issue is with this one. Overall, I was not impressed with this car seat and wouldn’t recommend it.See more
