I did not purchase these for babies, I purchased them for my cat’s LOL yes you read that right, I wanted them to use for inside their cat house, to make it a little bit more comfortable when they lie down. And they also have a couple cat beds and I tucked them inside the cat beds so the cat beds don’t collect as much hair! And as you can see depicted in the photo, I cover my cat up a little bit when it’s a little bit cool in here from the air conditioner! These wash up super super good!! I actually said if I had children I would purchase these! And I haven’t even mentioned the patterns on these are absolutely adorable!!!

These are pretty standard/basic receiving blankets. About the same size as the ubiquitous pink and blue ones you get from the hospital (maybe a tiny bit bigger, though I haven’t measured), but in much cuter patterns. They’re basic flannel, so might shrink a tiny bit if you throw them in the dryer. I use them as burp cloths because an actual burp cloth is no match for my “happy spitter” who seems to lose ounces of milk after every feeding! A random comment–I generally avoid using fabric softener/sheets because of my little ones’ sensitive skin, but I definitely have to use the scent free dryer sheets with these or the static electricity is ridiculous (though pretty standard for flannel). Overall I would recommend them. They’re a good value, very functional and sturdy, and I get plenty of use out of them!

I find that I’ve struggled to find a good use for these. They are too big/bulky for me–personally–to use as burp cloths and they are really too small to use as blankets. I do use them as an extra cover on my Boppy to help with accidents and it prevents me from having to wash my Boppy and cover as frequently. I also carry one in my diaper bag to use on changing tables. When the baby was little, we were able to swaddle with these, but that didn’t last long as they just aren’t big enough. I find the material is nice but the size is just awkward.

I have an old cat tree for my two cats, and I purchased this set of blankets to cushion the round areas of the cat tree where a cat can curl up and sleep. I like the fact that I can remove them and launder them whenever I need to, and they keep the cat tree looking nice. They are soft, generous in size, and the patterns add a whimsical touch to the tree. I am sure these would make a nice gift for a new baby, too!

Purchased these for a diaper cake I was making that had a nautical theme and these were perfect. They are a really nice size and I like that you get so many.

Getting ready for our little boy and decided it was time to start seeing what I had and needed. When taking these blankets apart I noticed not one but two of the blankets had holes in them. Disappointed that I had even washed or used them yet and they are already tattered.Due to the holes I give theses blankets 1 star and would not recommend as a purchase.

I have about a million burp cloths (or receiving blankets, swaddles, spit up rags, whatever you want to call them) that all vary slightly in quality, size, thickness, etc. I saw several reviews complaining that these are cheap and ended up being used as rags. I’m not sure what those reviewers were expecting. These aren’t “blankets” in the traditional sense, they’re similar to the receiving blankets in the hospital that get used for swaddling and cleaning up spit up. We don’t use these for swaddling cause we’re bad at it, we just use velcro swaddles. Although you certainly could. Ours get used for spit up, laying out bottles and pump materials and the like, laying baby down on surfaces when needed, covering her while in the carseat or while feeding or while at appointments, etc. The list goes on and on and we go through about a dozen a day. These ones just happen to be slightly softer, sturdier, and larger than many of the other ones we have. Also they’re super cute. And you get seven of them! Great buy.

The blankets will be very helpful in transporting our three cats to our new home.
