Inside the package are three things: the camera, the monitor, and documentation (+ power/charging cables). The monitor is already pre-configured to auto-pair with the camera once both are turned on, so connecting them was super simple.I’ve included a lot of pictures of the unit itself as well as the room I tested it in + images directly from the monitor as I tested it out. You’ll notice that the level of detail is fairly good, not 4k or even HD, but if you’re using this to monitor your baby it will be plenty sufficient I feel. The camera rotates and pans and has a pretty good range, so as long as you position it correctly without any obstruction, you’ll get good visibility into the space you have it. I put the camera unit on the floor just to test it out, but could get as high as the ceiling on the opposite side of the room by tilting upward. From the monitor you have the ability to hit ‘zoom’ to get a closer view. There is the standard view, then a closer view by hitting ‘zoom’ and then an even closer view by hitting ‘zoom’ again. The images I have attached should show you the difference between all three levels. The audio works fairly well, though if you are too close by you’ll hear feedback. You do have the option to turn it off if you don’t want it. You can also intercom into the camera units speaker to speak to whomever is in the room with the camera, it works well for a basic voice but don’t expect to sing a lullaby from the other room (you could but it wouldn’t do your voice justice).I should note that the camera automatically shifts to night mode if it’s not getting enough light. You’ll notice this in the pictures of the bookshelf that are in black and white. They were taken at the exact same time as the other pictures when there was plenty of light coming into the room, but the camera was not positioned facing the light when it points to the bookshelf. Once I panned the camera toward the painting and my dumbbell rack it received enough light from the window on that side of the room to automatically switch out of night mode and back to full color. From the monitor you are able to hear a little motor noise when panning/tilting the camera, though it’s quiet enough in the room where the camera actually is that it would be unobtrusive. All in all, a great investment and super easy to use. Would recommend to others, and considering purchasing another camera unit to pair with the same monitor unit (yes, you can add additional cameras).

I bought this baby monitor and I really like it so I decided to leave review.1. DesignWhen I first opened the box, I was amazed how well it was designed. It almost felt like unboxing some Apple product. It was clean white color with minimal details. I know you tend to really not care about the design when you buy baby products but I did enjoy the design of it.2. VisionAs you can see resolution is really high for monitoring baby. I can see so much details clearly both day and night. First photo was taken during daylight and second photo was during midnight. As you can see in day time, vision is so clear with all the color correctly. At night time also, I can see everything clear. I was surprised how it can catch it so well without any light source. It catches sound crisp as well, so you know exactly what is going on in the room. You can also talk to your baby in another room. That function was very helpful for us when the baby is alone in his room. We can sooth him easily with our voice when he wake up so we don’t have to go to the room every time which was really convenient. You can also change angle a lot so you can check every angle of the room. And manipulating the camera is super easy. It is like a joystick.3. UsabilityThis is actually my favorite part of this product for me. Setting was so easy like a breeze. I was almost couldn’t believe how easy it was. I just turned on both screen and camera and that was it. There was no mess up like other products. Moreover, controlling is so easy as well. Menus were straight forward and user friendly. You are not gonna misunderstand anything. Everything is so easy with this product. My husband is normally horrible with those gadgets but he was able to use it straight away which means a lot.Overall I hope there is wireless function and application for mobile so you can use it as a CCTV when your baby is with a babysitter or somebody else. Except that, I am 100% satisfied!

I bought this product for my newborn daughter because we were afraid to leave her alone in her crib. A friend had recently lost their baby to SIDS. It was easy to install. The hardest part was the pieces of wood to support the sensors, but you can just buy them on Amazon too. I made mine out of scrap plywood. I was amazed the first night when I got close enough to hear her breathing and noticed that the sensors caught every breath and flinch which is displayed by a green flash on the control unit (which is not as bright as people complain about. I sleep two feet away. Maybe it is a different model). Some people claimed their ceiling fan or airconditioning would set it off. I tested it several times and neither seemed to be enough on the sensors to keep the alarm from going off. Perhaps it is crib placement? The only annoying thing was that I would take her out of the crib and forget to turn it off, but eventually, we got used to pushing the button first. The third night we were using it, the alarm went off in the middle of the night. I jumped up and found she had scooted to a corner. I scooped her up, she jumped, and I put her back in the middle. I then reset the alarm assuming it was a false alarm. The next day when I woke up she had scooted to that corner again but had NOT set the alarm off. The next night the alarm went off in the middle of the night again. This time she was right in the middle. When I touched her she didn’t flinch and I noticed that she was not breathing. I shook her she didn’t flinch. She didn’t jump until I picked her up all the way out of the crib. I am not a doctor. I don’t know if she would have started breathing again on her own, or if this device saved her life. I also don’t ever care to test it. All I know is she stopped breathing, and 20 seconds is long enough for me. This thing is awesome. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the other devices, but it covers the WHOLE crib and I am willing to bet that there is just more money invested in the sensors because they are incredible. This was the best thing we bought for our new baby. I am recommending this to everyone.

So, I don’t normally write product reviews, but now is the right time to do one!I bought this product after we realized our daughter (who was about 3 weeks old at the time) was a belly sleeper. I actually bought 2, one for the crib and one for the bassinet since she was sleeping in both. I did a lot of research (while I sat awake in the middle of the night making sure she was ok), and this product was recommended over some of the other motion sensors. It was recommended over others because it didn’t have lots of exposed wires for baby to grab, and it didn’t have as many “false alarms” as some others on the market. The monitor will go off if it doesn’t detect any movement for 20 seconds or less than 10 micro-movements in a minute. Sometimes we pick our daughter up and forget to turn it off, but it has a ticking warning about 5 seconds before thr alarm goes off, and is a great reminder we forgot to turn it off.Well, last night this product paid for itself 10-fold! My husband and I were awaken at 5 AM this morning by the alarm going off. My husband got in there before me, and he said when he picked her up, she wasn’t breathing and gasp for a breath. All we can figure is she wiggled around (as she always does) and got the sleep sack over her face. (Needless to say, no more sleep sacks!!!) If it hadn’t been for this monitor, we could have awoken to a different situation!I HIGHLY recommend this product for any parents (or grandparents) that want that extra piece of mind. There is a blue light that blinks on the front to let you know that it is detecting movement, so you can either peek in on the little one and see everything is ok, or if using with a bassinet, get a quick peek at night. The alarm is plenty loud to be heard through a baby monitor. This was absolutely a great investment for us!

Our 4 month old son figured out how to roll onto his tummy and decided that’s how he preferred to sleep. With the back is best sleep rule, this made me very nervous and I would spend time repositioning him to his back throughout the night only to have him immediately roll back to his tummy. The expert opinion I read on this differs.. some say once they can roll at all leave them be, other’s said if they can’t roll both ways to put them back on their back. Our son didn’t know how to roll from tummy to back yet, so this made me worry when he slept. My mom said they were instructed to place babies on their tummies to sleep when I was little, so I slept on my tummy WITH a blanket in the crib.. this made me feel a little better, but the safe recommendations are different now than almost 30 years ago. Long story to say that I decided I wanted something to monitor my son’s movement and breathing. After reading reviews on lots of different products, I decided on this one. I liked that it’s battery powered and cords are all contained/connected in the unit and alarm sensor under the mattress where our son can’t grab it. I also liked that it’s used as a medical device in other countries, not the US where I’m from, but it’s nice other countries trust it that much. The sensors are very sensitive. When we did our test after installing it, we found out that we couldn’t have our little floor fan within 10ft of it. Even at 10ft away, if the fan is angled to blow directly on the crib, the sensors will pick it up. I like how sensitive it is since it makes me feel like it really would pick up if our son stopped moving or having breathing movements. I also liked that there were two sensor pads since our son moves around the crib now. This is a big reason I chose this product over others. We have not had the alarm go off in the past month at all (no false alarms or real ones), but every time I test the sensors they go off, so I know the product is working. I test my sensors daily and anytime we changed the crib sheets just to be safe, and they always work. I’ve only forgotten to turn off the sensors a couple times at night during diaper changes… luckily the alarm only woke up my husband and not our son lol. I should add that we have a normal basic Serta baby mattress and it works well with it. We had debated buying a breathable mattress, but those costed hundreds of dollars and even if they work (I’m not fully convinced they do) they wouldn’t alert me to anything.Overall, I highly recommend this product. I know nothing can prevent SIDS, but this product makes me feel way less worried and allows me to sleep better while my tummy sleeping son snoozes away.

I’ve had my Summer baby monitor since 2016 and was super bummed when the cord finally gave out due to a rip because my monitor set is discontinued. I was thinking I had to replace the whole thing when I thought “duh” I can replace the cord. So happy I found this and it was compatible with my monitor! The price is great (especially when compared to buying a whole new system for $99+) and the quality is exactly the same as the original cord. I haven’t had any issues with this item and I’m so happy I can continue to get use out of my old baby monitor.

I’ve had this monitor video system for 7 years. I was a excited to still be able to find the power cord. I received it quickly and it worked great!! The cord was long enough and the picture quality is like new. I’m very happy with this product.

Very pleased with our purchase. The cord on our Summer Duo monitor finally gave out and I was worried we’d have to buy a completely new set, but was very happy to find this replacement cord, instead. Works perfectly so far, very happy.

We transitioned our babe from crib to bed with bedrails and needed a sensor and camera to check on her. The reviews for this product were great so we decided to buy a different brand eventhough we loved our Angelcare sound monitor. Well we are severely disappointed. The cords for the sensors are not long enough for use in a bed eventhough it is advertised for bed or crib. The sound quality is so poor we have had to continue using the Angelcare monitor. The battery life on the handheld unit doesn’t make it through a full night from 9pm to 7am! We are returning this as soon as we can swap out for a new brand. It all around stinks!

We overall LOVE this product for the peace of mind the micromovement sensor provides. We have only had a handful of what may or may not have been false alarms–two nights after one of these alarms, I witnessed firsthand my baby not breathing (a BRUE–look it up) for an extended period of time (was not on the sensor at the time), and you can bet we have been keeping him sleeping on the sensor as much as possible ever since. Our baby spent his first 6 weeks in the hospital for a critical health problem so we were already happy that we had bought this before his birth. We trust that it will alert us anytime he stops breathing because it always goes off if we pick him up when we’re half asleep and forget to turn it off. (It’s alarming and annoying when we forget, but we’re happy it works!)I saw a review saying the alarm was quiet. It is plenty loud! And it’s sensitive and not interfered with by movement in the room in our experience. The heat or AC can be running, plus the fan of the evaporative humidifier right next to the bassinet, and still the alarm will go off if we pick up the baby and forget to turn it off first. The monitor is adequate. Sometimes it loses connection briefly when we’re downstairs (baby is upstairs), often when electronics are active right next to the monitor. It hasn’t been too much of an issue. The charge lasts several hours, though we haven’t used it more than a few hours at a time and can’t speak to how long it will last on a full charge. We have been using it for 5 months and, just recently, the monitor screen got a white horizontal line through it. We contacted customer service and they were very quick to respond and send a replacement, so that was appreciated. On the parent unit, you can turn on songs to play on the baby unit. The sound quality isn’t great on these, but it’s kind of a nice feature. We really like that there’s a talkback button on the parent unit so if one parent is with the baby, the other can talk to them from a different room. We also use it to talk to the baby while we’re on our way up to comfort him when he’s crying. We haven’t had other units to compare this to, but would recommend this product, especially the motion sensing pads.

TL;DR: alarm will not work if there’s ANY motion around crib (ceiling fan, ac/heater, crib mobile, waking around/pets moving in room, upper floor/creaky floors that move). The alarm is very soft / my baby slept through it.My husband and I spent almost 2 weeks going back and forth with this angel care, snuza, and owlet. We decided to go with this one because it’s registered as a medical device in other countries. However, it’s way too over sensitive and definitely not loud enough. This may work for people who live downstairs, don’t have a ceiling fan, don’t have a mobile for crib, don’t walk around the crib, or don’t turn on ac/heat. The room has to be completely devoid of any motion for the alarm to trigger, and the alarm is exceptionally soft, my phone alarm to wake me up is exceptionally louder.I’m positive this is a very well made product and will work wonders for those in the right circumstances, but having false alarms at least let’s you know it’s working. As for the camera, quality is what you’d expect for an extra 50$, not great but manageable for 50$.
